Chui F1 – Red Onion

Chui is an mid Short day onion red variety with excellent bulb qualities. This new red onion variety produces attractive and glossy medium to dark red bulbs with good firmness. Chui has good seedling vigour with a strong root sytem which contributes to giving producers good yield and uniformity for a red onion in its maturity class. Chui offers an attractive appearance for the fresh market as well as a short to moderate storability, which give producers the market flexibility for a red onion variety. Chui seeds are size graded and treated as standard
