At Bukoola Chemical Industries Ltd, we are committed to ensuring that farmers thrive beyond their harvests. Recently, our technical field representative visited Bazanyanengo, a dedicated coffee farmer in Butanza, Luweero District, to provide essential support and guidance. This visit was part of our ongoing Beyond Harvest Campaign, where we go beyond selling products to actively engaging with the farming communities.

Bazanyanengo, like many coffee farmers in the region, faces significant challenges with his coffee plantation. Issues such as insect pests and diseases like Coffee Red Blister and Coffee Berry Disease can severely impact crop yield and quality. During our visit, we worked with Bazanyanengo to conduct a self-diagnosis of his coffee plants, helping him identify early signs of these issues and guiding him on how to prevent their spread.

Our representative also introduced him to our innovative solutions like CAFEDAK and COPPERMATE, two products designed specifically to prevent and cure these coffee diseases. These solutions not only safeguard his crop but also ensure that farmers like Bazanyanengo can achieve better, healthier harvests.

The Beyond Harvest Campaign aims to do more than just provide products. It’s about empowering farming communities through education, follow-up visits, and ongoing support, ensuring that they have the tools and knowledge to sustain their livelihoods beyond the current season.
