On Friday, June 28th, 2024, Bukoola Chemical Industries Ltd. hosted a momentous launch event for WellFed Animal Feeds. The event brought together prominent figures from the Ugandan poultry industry, including seasoned poultry farmer Mr. Kevin Ssewakiryanga. Mr. Ssewakiryanga enthusiastically endorsed Wellfed, highlighting the importance of good nutrition in poultry production. Mr. Ssewakiryanga raised a critical concern: the potential for counterfeit products to enter the market. He emphasized the importance of Wellfed, as the legal owner of the brand, taking a strong stance against counterfeiting:

“He talked about counterfeiting and asked Bukoola, the legal owners of the Wellfed brand, to challenge themselves with counterfeiting as farmers will love to use only genuine concentrates as we all know that the poultry business is a very delicate business.”
